Book One: Genesis.
(Genesis 1:28) “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
(Genesis 3:11) “Who told thee that thou wast naked?”
(Genesis 9:20) “And No’-ah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.”
(Genesis 17:9) “And God said unto A’bra-ham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised; and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant. “
(Genesis 21:8) “And the child grew, and was weaned: and A’-bra-ham made a great feast the same day that I’saac was weaned.”
(Genesis 24:2) “And A’-bra-ham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh: And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Ca’-na-an-ites, among whom I dwell: But thou shalt go unto my country and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son I’-saac.”
(Genesis 24:63) “And I’-saac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming.”
(Genesis 27:16) “And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck: And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Ja’-cob.”
(Genesis 28:12) “And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.”
(Genesis 31:17) “Then Ja’-cob rose up, and set his sons and his wives upon camels.”
(Genesis 32:24) “And Ja’-cob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.”
(Genesis 35:2) “Then Ja’-cob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments.”
(Genesis 37:3) “Now Is’-ra-el loved Jo’-seph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors.”
(Genesis 38:12) “And in process of time the daughter of Shu’-ah Ju’-dah’s wife died; and Ju’-dah was comforted, and went up unto his sheep-shearers to Tim’-nath, he and his friend Hi’-rah the A-dul’-lam-ite.”
(Genesis 41:7) “And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pha’-raoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.”
(Genesis 43:30) “And Jo’-seph made haste; for his bowels did yearn upon his brother: and he sought where to weep; and he entered into his chamber, and wept there.”
(Genesis 47:13) “And there was no bread in all the land.”
(Genesis 49:3) “Reu’-ben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.”
(Genesis 50:26) “So Jo’-seph died, being an hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in E’-gypt.”
