Book 26: Ezekiel
Ezekiel 3:1 “Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Is’-ra-el. So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.”
Ezekiel 8:10 “So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Is’-ra-el, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.”
Ezekiel 13:10 “Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter: Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall: and a stormy wind shall rend it. Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?”
Ezekiel 16:48 “As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sod’-om thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters. Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sod’-om, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.”
Ezekiel 20:15 “Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands; Because they despised my judgements, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.”
Ezekiel 22:8 “Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths. In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.”
Ezekiel 25:6 “For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Is’-ra-el; Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish of of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.”
Ezekiel 28:25 “Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Is’-ra-el from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Ja’-cob. And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgements upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
Ezekiel 32:8 “All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.”
Ezekiel 35:4 “I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.”
Ezekiel 36:29 “I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.”
Ezekiel 40:2 “In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Is’-ra-el, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south. And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.”
Ezekiel 42:5 “Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building. For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground. And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits. For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.”
Ezekiel 44:18 “They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with any thing that causeth sweat.”
Ezekiel 47:1 “Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.”
