Book Two: Exodus.
(Moses is the construction worker usually.)
(Exodus 2:12) “And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the E-gyp’-tian, and hid him in the sand.”
(Exodus 4:2) “And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.”
(Exodus 6:30) “And Mo’-ses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pha’-raoh hearken unto me?”
(Exodus 9:20) “He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pha’-roah made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses.”
(Exodus 12:11) “And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’s passover.”
(Exodus 16:20) “Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Mo’-ses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Mo’-ses was wroth with them.”
(Exodus 20:10) “But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates.”
(Exodus 22:16) “And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife. If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins. Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death. He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.”
(Exodus 25:17) “And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. And thou shalt make two cher’-u-bims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. And make one cher’-ub on the one end, and the other cher’-ub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cher’-u-bims on the two ends thereof. And the cher’u-bims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cher’-u-bims be.”
(Exodus 28:40) “And for Aa’-ron’s sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty. And thou shalt put them upon Aa’ron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest”s office. And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach.”
(Exodus 32:9) “And the LORD said unto Mo’-ses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.”
(Exodus 34:29) “And it came to pass, when Mo’-ses came down from mount Si’-nai with the two tables of testimony in Mo’-ses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Mo’-ses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.”
(Exodus 37:17) “And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same: And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof.”
(Exodus 40:34) “Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.”
